Blame Sally

BLAME SALLY is a unique collective of four distinct voices and musical backgrounds, Blame Sally has forged a compelling and original sound that has earned the band the well-deserved reputation as a Bay Area phenomenona. Recently signing a five year mid-six figure record deal, the band's spirited, take-no-prisoners attitude is a welcome contrast to traditional folkie navel-gazing, and the band has the songs, chops and pipes to back up their toughtalking, clear-minded folk rock. In May, 2009 the band released Night of 1000 Stars, produced by Grammy nominated producer, Lee Townsend.

CARRIE GERENDASY is an outstanding, high energy folk singer with a superb voice, and a lightning-fast flat picking hand.  Powerful and passionate, her songs inspire and her charismatic presence electrifies the room.  She puts intense emotional interpretation into her songs which span folk, blues and country music; she is a kick-ass guitar picker with a strong voice for the blues and western music, and a sweet sound for ballads.  Her vocal power is only equaled by the rate at which her fingers fly over her guitar strings.
